The �hybrid scope� design allows for a slimmer insertion tube with a diameter of only 6.2mm, even with the incorporated ultrasound transducer.

The BF-UC160F is used in combination with the compact, easy-to-use EU-C60 ultrasound processor.

When the dedicated aspiration needle is passed through the scope�s biopsy channel, the position of the needle tip can be confirmed in real-time during the puncturing procedure.

Power Doppler mode, made possible by electronic linear scanning, enables the user to check blood flow conditions before puncturing.

Both the direct contact method and the balloon method are available for ultrasound scanning. A balloon irrigation port is provided.

This Olympus CV-160 is the second to last generation of video processors by Olympus designed to maximize the capabilities of the Evis Exera 160 scopes with high resolution images, improved color reproduction and larger display size. It also features an improved video signal processing enabling observation of minute details without increasing noise for more accurate treatment, full height mode using the full vertical area of the monitor screen, 35% more compact that previous models and newly designed keyboard.

The CV-160 can also be used with Evis Exera Bronchoscopes as well many of the 180, 140, 130 and 100 scopes. It includes a scope ID function for the 160 and 180 scopes and the ability to capture images directly into a computer.
